In films and tv shows, choreography is a very important part in filmmaking. Depending on what film or tv show a company produces, choreography serves as the concept of flow and movement in a scene. This is most common in dynamic sequences and most commonly fight scenes. While choreography is commonly associated with dancing, especially in musicals, choreography is utilized to create a sense of depth in a scene; to create an impact to the audience.
Choreography is more than movement but a sequence being followed in an orderly fashion. In dancing, it allows dancers to create a sense of flow into their styles and build these fast sequences of swinging the body from one pose to the next.

THE CONCEPT:
Choreography in dancing allows professionals to utilize the flow of their movements, letting themselves naturally flow into a scene. Many talented dancers either follow a sequence that was highly practiced in order to give that amazing effect or practiced on a certain set of actions along with others in order to get it correct. When more people are involved, a group dance usually involves multiple dancers following the same sequences; creating this dynamic effect entirely based on the dancer’s movements.
(Dance choreography)
In films and televisions, dance choreography is limited to the visual design a producer can have during filming. Depending how it should be interpreted, films like Pitch Perfect and La La Land have different approaches to dancing. And both have succeeded on their own to grab the audience’s attention the very moment the scene takes center stage.
(Fight choreography)
In fighting, two people are locked into combat with either weapons or their fists. Most action films always bring a realistic take on how fighting can be interpreted onto the big screen. There are many ways films and televisions can interpret fighting in a paced sequence. Sometimes it can involve a high-octane amount of music that plays within the background. As Well as having the actors follow the pace of the music, syncing their movements to the pitch that times it.
Both dancing and fighting rely on the flow of a sequence. If it’s not kept within the sequence, the whole scene would ultimately fall apart and lose its pacing.
